State v. Nathan Fogg

Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald announces that on May 18, 2018, a Carroll County Grand Jury returned 4 indictments against Nathan Fogg (age 57), a former Wakefield Town Code Enforcement Officer and private environmental consultant.

The indictments charge Mr. Fogg with theft by deception in connection with his private consulting work where he illegally obtained over $1,500 from clients on multiple occasions. In addition, the State filed 14 misdemeanor charges against Mr. Fogg for the alleged forgery of State permits related to work in the protected shoreland. The alleged conduct occurred between 2016 and 2017.

Mr. Fogg will be arraigned in the Carroll County Superior Court on June 8, 2018.

All charges and allegations are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

If you have questions regarding a State permit, please contact Jeff Blecharczyk of the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services at 271-4061.
