Investigation into two untimely deaths in Dover - Update

Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald and Dover Police Chief Anthony F. Colarusso announce further information is available regarding the on-going investigation into two untimely deaths in Dover.

In the early morning, on April 16, 2018, the Dover Police Department received a 911 call concerning 5 Palmer Drive in Dover. Officers responded to the residence, where they discovered two deceased adults, Meghan Thomas, age 36, and Daniel Barnes, age 40. Thomas and Barnes were the only residents of the home.

Chief Medical Examiner Jennie V. Duval has scheduled autopsies on both individuals for April 17, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. No further information is expected until those autopsies are completed.

There is no known risk of harm to the general public stemming from the incident.
