Brian Eldridge Convicted of Possession of Fentanyl and Being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm

Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald announces that Brian Eldridge, age 35, was found guilty by a jury today in the Merrimack County Superior Court to possessing fentanyl and being a felon in possession of a firearm. The jury acquitted Mr. Eldridge of possessing fentanyl with the intent to sell and of being a felon in possession of two knives.

The drug possession conviction is a Class A felony because Mr. Eldridge has a prior drug conviction. The firearm possession conviction is a Class B felony. The Court can sentence Mr. Eldridge to up to 15 years on the drug possession conviction and up to 7 years on the firearm possession conviction.

The Court will sentence Mr. Eldridge on April 27, 2018 at 11:00 A.M.

The resolution of this case was a result of the collaborative efforts of the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office and the Concord Police Department.
