Review of the Rockingham County Attorney's Office Decision Not to Prosecute Deans from Phillips Exeter Academy
Deputy Attorney General Ann M. Rice announces that the Office of the Attorney General has completed its review of the decision by the Rockingham County Attorney not to prosecute Dean Melissa Mischke and Dean Arthur Cosgrove of Phillips Exeter Academy for failing to report child abuse or neglect.
The conclusion of the review, that the county attorney did not abuse her discretion in declining to prosecute these individuals, is outlined in the attached letter sent to the Rockingham County Attorney today.
