Suspicious Death in Manchester, New Hampshire

Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald and Manchester Police Chief Enoch F. Willard announce that an investigation is ongoing into a suspicious death of a two-year-old boy in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Manchester police officers responded to 551 Howe Street at 11:30 a.m. today for the report of an unconscious toddler. The child was transported to the Elliot Hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later. At this time, the cause of the toddler's death appears suspicious.

An autopsy is expected tomorrow to determine the cause and manner of death. In the meantime, an investigation is active and ongoing into the circumstances that led to the child's death.
