Victim identified in Suspicious Death in Goffstown, New Hampshire

Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Christopher J. Wagner and Goffstown Police Chief Robert Browne announce that further information is available regarding the suspicious death that occurred in Goffstown, New Hampshire last night.

Yesterday at approximately 4:20 p.m., Goffstown Police responded to a reported shooting in the parking lot at 5 Depot Street in Goffstown. An adult male was found wounded and taken to a local hospital where he later died. That person has been identified as Ian Jewell (age18) of Manchester, NH. An autopsy is scheduled for later today to determine Mr. Jewell's cause and manner of death.

The investigation is ongoing. Additional information will be provided after the autopsy.
