New Hampshire Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald announces that there will be a press briefing tomorrow morning related to the arrest warrant issued for Viterbo Enrique-Minaya aka Francisco Rodriguez-Benitez, age 31, formerly of Lawrence, Massachusetts. Mr. Minaya is accused of selling the fentanyl that caused the overdose death of Brandon Laurion on October 30 or 31, 2016, in Rochester. Mr. Minaya sold the fentanyl in Lawrence to Amber Nicholson, and this fentanyl was ultimately provided to Brandon Laurion. This is the first case where a drug dealer operating out of state has been charged in connection with a New Hampshire drug overdose death.

The press briefing will be held at 10:00 a.m. in the Rochester City Council Chambers, located at Rochester City Hall, 31 Wakefield Street, Rochester, New Hampshire. Also participating will be Chief Paul Toussaint of the Rochester Police Department and Assistant Special Agent in Charge Jon C. Delena of the United States Drug Enforcement Administration.
