Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald and New Hampshire State Police Colonel Christopher J. Wagner announce the names of the two officers involved in the shooting incident on June 13, 2017 at the New Hampshire State Liquor Store, South-Bound, in Hampton that resulted in the death of Barry Jones.  The New Hampshire State Troopers who discharged their weapons were Keith Walker (Sergeant), a nineteen year member of the New Hampshire State Police and Erik Willett, a five year member of the New Hampshire State Police.  Both troopers are assigned to Troop A State Police Barracks in Epping.

The exact circumstances surrounding this incident remain actively under investigation.  It is anticipated that a preliminary report regarding whether the officer(s) use of deadly force was justified will be released once the investigation is completed.

Pursuant to State Police protocol both Troopers remain on paid administrative leave pending the conclusion of the investigation.
