Autopsy Results and Victim Identification from Farmington Homicide Investigation

New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Christopher J. Wagner and Farmington Police Chief John Drury announce that the autopsy has been completed on the deceased adult discovered in Farmington, New Hampshire on Wednesday, March 15, 2017.

The deceased individual has been identified as James Laprade, age 33, of Farmington, New Hampshire. Chief Medical Examiner, Dr. Thomas Andrew, has determined that the manner of death was homicide. The cause of Laprade's death was a gunshot wound.

The injured female found at the scene is expected to recover from her injuries. Her identity is being withheld pending notification of her next of kin.

The investigation into the circumstances of Laprade's death and the female's injuries remains active and ongoing.
