Arrest in Farmington Murder and Attempted Murder Case

New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Christopher J. Wagner, and Farmington Police Chief John Drury announce that an arrest has been made Wednesday, March 15, in connection with an incident in Farmington, New Hampshire.

At approximately 12:06 p.m. on March 15, 2017, Farmington police officers responded to a 911 call from a residence in Farmington. Once there, they discovered two adults in the home with apparent gunshot wounds; an adult male who was deceased and an adult female who was injured. The female was taken to a hospital and treated for her wounds. She is expected to survive.

A juvenile has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder for killing the adult male and attempted murder for shooting the adult female. No other details will be available since the perpetrator is a juvenile.

An autopsy will be performed on the deceased male to confirm his cause and matter of death. The identity of the adults is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
