Officer Involved Shooting in Claremont, New Hampshire

New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster and Assistant Commissioner of the Department of Safety and Acting Colonel of the State Police Robert Quinn announce that an autopsy has been conducted on Cody Lafont (age 25), who died on September 25, 2016, in Claremont during a confrontation with police. Mr. Lafont was shot three times in the chest during that confrontation. The manner of Mr. Lafont's death has been ruled a homicide, caused by three gunshot wounds to his chest.

The circumstances that led to Mr. Lafont's death are still being investigated.
