Autopsy results in shooting death in Derry, NH

New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster, State Police Colonel Robert L. Quinn and Derry Police Chief Edward B. Garone announce the results of the autopsy conducted on Cole Kinney (age 17), of Lowell, Massachusetts, who died on Wednesday evening after being shot in Derry, New Hampshire.

Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Thomas A. Andrew determined that the cause of Kinney's death was a single gunshot wound to the chest and that the manner of his death was homicide.

The New Hampshire State Police and Derry Police Department have identified all the parties involved in the shooting and are actively investigating the incident including the potential of a self-defense claim.
