Autopsy Results for Manchester Homicide Victim Sue Hutchinson

Attorney General Joseph A. Foster and Manchester Police Chief Enoch F. Willard announce that further information is available regarding the adult female's body that was discovered deceased on Sunday, October 11, 2015. That body was believed to be that of Sue Hutchinson of Manchester, New Hampshire. Ms. Hutchinson had been missing since September 20, 2015.

The State's Chief Medical Examiner, Dr. Thomas A. Andrew, has completed an autopsy on the female's body and has positively identified her as Sue Hutchinson (age 57). Dr. Andrew has also determined that Ms. Hutchinson's cause of death was ligature strangulation and the manner of death is homicide.

The investigation into Ms. Hutchinson's murder continues to focus on her roommate, Stephen Andrade, who killed himself in a motel in Massachusetts on October 6, 2015. The investigation into the circumstances leading up to and surrounding Ms. Hutchinson's murder and Mr. Andrade's suicide remains ongoing.

Further details will be released once the investigation has concluded.
