Arrest of Kerry L. Bridges (for diverting drugs from the Concord Hospital)

New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster and Concord Police Chief Bradley C. Osgood announce that an arrest has been made in connection with the March and April 2015 diversion of Schedule II narcotics from the Concord Hospital.

Kerry L. Bridges, of Warren, Maine, was arrested on June 12, 2015, and was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled drug (class B felony). The drugs that she possessed/ diverted were Hydromorphone (Dilaudid) and Morphine. These charges stem from a May 14, 2015 report from the Concord Hospital that Bridges, while working as a licensed registered nurse, diverted controlled drugs, documented administration of narcotics without a doctor's orders, and had missing or unaccounted for narcotics. During the time she worked at Concord Hospital, Bridges was there as a traveling nurse from the State of Maine.

Bridges was employed at Concord Hospital from March 27, 2015 until May 1, 2015. Bridges is licensed as a nurse in Maine and had been practicing in New Hampshire under the Nurse Licensure Compact. Her privilege to practice in New Hampshire was suspended on May 22, 2015, by the Board of Nursing.

This matter was referred to the Office of the Attorney General from the Concord Hospital and the Concord Police Department.

Bridges was arraigned on fugitive from justice charges on Monday, June 15, 2015, in Maine District Court - Rockland.
