Suspicious Death Investigation in Manchester, New Hampshire

New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster and Manchester Police Chief David Mara announce that a homicide suspicious death has begun in Manchester, New Hampshire.

At approximately 1:00 AM on Saturday May 9, 2015, Manchester Police officers responded to Club Drynk at 20 Old Granite Street in Manchester. The officers entered the club and discovered a young male bleeding from a wound to his torso. The man was on the ground near one of the bars inside the club. Officers rendered aid, and the male was taken to Elliott Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Witnesses indicated that the male was assaulted by another patron inside the club during an altercation.

The Manchester Police Department are investigating the circumstances surrounding the assault at several locations around the area of Old Granite Street and the intersections of Elm and Cedar Streets. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Detectives at the Manchester Police Department at 603-668-8711, or call the Manchester Police Crimeline at 603-624-4040. There were several patrons inside the club who may have seen the assault and/or videotaped the assault on their cellular telephones. Investigators are requesting these patrons to please contact the police department to so officers may view those videos or photos for the investigation.

Finally, people who are attending Southern New Hampshire University graduations at the Verizon Arena are advised that officers will be in several locations around the Arena. Please allow for additional travel time and make accommodations to park outside of the areas actively being searched.
