Arrest Warrant Issued for Second Suspect in Connection with the Murder of Benjamin Marcum in Nashua, New Hampshire

New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster and Nashua Police Chief Andrew Lavoie announce that a warrant has been issued authorizing the arrest of a second individual in connection with the murder of Benjamin Marcum on March 12, 2015, in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Stephan Daniel Peno (age 20) of Nashua has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, robbery, and falsifying physical evidence for his involvement in the events that led to the death of Benjamin Marcum. Jonathan Goff was previously arrested on March 14, 2015, and charged with second-degree murder for causing Marcum's death.

Stephan Peno's whereabouts are currently unknown. Investigators are asking the public for help in locating him. Peno was last seen in Nashua around April 1, 2015. Peno is 5'6" tall, and weighs approximately 150 lbs. Peno has black hair and green eyes. He has several tattoos on his arms including: a skeleton/ghost and the letters "NFL" on his right arm, and the numbers "603" on his left arm. The two photos of Stephan Peno accompanying this news release were taken within the last year. Peno may have cut his hair short and shaved his facial hair to alter his appearance.

Peno has acquaintances in both Nashua and Manchester, New Hampshire, where he is believed to be hiding. Any member of the public with information regarding Stephan Peno's whereabouts or who has observed a person that resembles Peno is urged to contact the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, or your local police department. Do not approach or attempt to apprehend this person yourself. Report any information to the United States Marshals Service District Office at (603) 225-1632, or call 1-877 WANTED-2 (877-926-8332), or text the words "NHTIP" with any information to TIP411.

The Nashua Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding Benjamin Marcum's death. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Nashua Police Department at (603) 594-3500 and ask for Detectives.
