Ongoing Incident in Nashua, New Hampshire

New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster and Nashua Police Chief John J. Seusing announce that an incident is ongoing in Nashua, New Hampshire.

At approximately 11:00 p.m. the Nashua Police Department received a call regarding a deceased adult female on the Baldwin Street Bridge. The deceased appears to be a homicide victim.

Shortly after that body was discovered, Nashua police responded to a residence at 1 Hutchinson Street in Nashua. An adult male is reported to be inside the residence, alone, with multiple firearms and is refusing to come out. The Nashua SWAT Team has been activated and has responded to the area of 1 Hutchinson Street and is attempting to convince the adult male to come out of the house. This incident appears to be related to the discovery of the deceased adult female.

The incident at 1 Hutchinson Street is ongoing and has resulted in the evacuation of homes in the area and residents being asked to stay inside their homes. The Nashua Police Department is also processing the scene on the Baldwin Street Bridge where the adult female's body is located.
