Homicide Investigation in Manchester, New Hampshire

Attorney General Joseph A. Foster and Manchester Police Department Chief David J. Mara announce that at about 11:20 pm, on Sunday, February 2, 2014, officers from the Manchester Police Department began an investigation into an apparent stabbing incident near Goffstown Road. There, officers saw and rendered assistance to an adult male, with an apparent stab wound, who shortly thereafter died. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will be conducting an autopsy to determine the exact cause and manner of death of his death. His identity is being withheld pending notification of his next of kin.

Although the investigation is extensive and ongoing, and still in its preliminary stages, authorities believe that all of the involved parties to the incident have been identified.
