Alicia Castagnino Borges Indicted in Connection with the Death of Brennan Pelio in Manchester, New Hampshire

Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella announces that the Hillsborough County (Northern District) Grand Jury has returned an indictment against Alicia Castagnino Borges, age 24, for two alternative counts of Second-Degree Murder in connection with the death of Brennan Pelio (age 27) on December 10, 2024, in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Alicia Castagnino Borges is charged with one count of Second Degree Murder for knowingly causing the death of Brennan Pelio by shooting him with a gun, and alternatively, one count of Second Degree Murder for recklessly causing the death of Brennan Pelio under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life by shooting him with a gun.

The charges and allegations against Alicia Castagnino Borges are merely accusations, and she is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
