FRM Victims' Fund

The 2016 New Hampshire Legislature passed SB 155, which creates the Financial Resources Mortgage (FRM) Victims' Contribution Recovery Fund.

The statute is codified at RSA Chapter 359-P. The Fund will offer payments to persons who suffered financial losses as a result of the FRM fraud. The 2021 New Hampshire Legislature amended the statute as part of HB2 (Laws 2021, Chapter 91).

The statute requires the appointment of an independent administrator, who will create applications for assistance for victims, review applications and make awards of assistance.

No applications for assistance from victims are being accepted at this time. That will become the responsibility of the administrator, after an appointment is made.

Until an administrator is appointed, messages may be left via email at frm.fund@doj.nh.gov or via telephone voice mail at (603) 271-1527. The following are related documents.

The State is now reviewing applicants for the position of FRM Claims Administrator.
