The Attorney General enforces and provides advice with respect to the following environmental laws:

Attorneys in the Environmental Protection Bureau also perform the role of Counsel for the Public before the Energy Facility Site Evaluation Committee established by RSA 162-H to review applications to construct energy facilities like electric power plants and natural gas pipelines. In this role, the Attorney General represents the public's interest in environmental quality and on the adequate supply of energy.
