On September 19, 2009, a hunter found the remains of Eric Fitting, 33, of Fall River, MA. His body was located in a wooded area off of Rte. 124. Fitting had been shot to death. Despite an intensive investigation including numerous trips to the Fall River area, the case remains unsolved.
