New Hampshire Attorney General Kelly A. Ayotte, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Frederick H. Booth and Wilton Police Chief Brent D. Hautanen announce that an arrest has been made in the homicide that occurred in Wilton, New Hampshire on April 18, 2008.

Benjamin L. Duling, Sr. (age 34) was arrested this morning and charged with second-degree murder for killing his girlfriend, Shelly McGrade (age 35), on Friday, April 18, 2008, in Wilton. Mr. Duling will be arraigned at the Milford District Court today at 1:00 p.m.

Deputy Chief Medical Examiner Jennie V. Duval completed an autopsy on Ms. McGrade on April 20, 2008. Dr. Duval determined the cause of death as two stab wounds. The manner of death is homicide.
