Keegan Duhaime Sentenced for the Murder of Timothy “Stanley” Hill

Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella and Colonel Mark B. Hall of the New Hampshire State Police announce that Keegan Duhaime has been sentenced to thirty-three years to life in state prison for the murder Timothy “Stanley” Hill on July 9, 2022.

Duhaime previously pled guilty in Cheshire County Superior Court to Second Degree Murder, in violation of RSA 630:1-b(I)(b) on September 13, 2023, when he admitted that he had recklessly, with extreme indifference to the value of human life, caused the death of his step-grandfather by shooting him while he slept in their home in Ashuelot, NH.

“I want to extend my sincere thanks to our trial team as well as our law enforcement partners, including the Winchester Police Department and New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit for their thorough work on this case,” said Attorney General Formella. “The defendant’s guilty plea with the accompanying significant term of incarceration is a reflection of the strength of the evidence which our law enforcement partners marshalled during their professional, meticulous investigation. Our thoughts remain with Timothy Hill’s family and friends.”

This case was prosecuted by Assistant Attorney General Charles Bucca and Assistant Attorney General R. Christopher Knowles with assistance from Victim/Witness Advocate Sunny Mulligan-Shea.
