Ongoing Investigation in Nashua, New Hampshire

New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster and Nashua Police Chief John J. Seusing announce that the deceased has been identified in connection with an ongoing investigation in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Yesterday, at approximately 11:30 a.m., the Nashua Police Department responded to a home at 14 Oak Street in Nashua for a medical call involving a 3-year-old female child. That child was taken to the hospital and declared deceased a short time later.

Today, the State's Chief Medical Examiner, Dr. Thomas A. Andrew, conducted an autopsy on that young girl. The deceased has been identified as Brielle Gage, age 3, of 14 Oak Street in Nashua. The cause and manner of her death are being withheld at this time while the investigation continues.

No further news releases are expected until next week.
