Homicide in Keene, New Hampshire

New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster, Keene Police Chief Kenneth Meola, and New Hampshire State Police Colonel Robert Quinn announce further information from the investigation of the homicide of David Wheelock in Keene on December 21, 2013.

Dr. Thomas Andrew, Chief Medical Examiner for the State of New Hampshire conducted an autopsy on Mr. Wheelock on Monday, December 23, 2013. From that examination, Dr. Andrew was able to determine that the cause of Mr. Wheelock's death was multiple gunshot wounds, and the manner of his death was homicide.

The State is continuing to ask for the public's help. Anyone travelling on Pearl Street between 9:00 PM and 9:30 PM should contact the Keene Police Department with any observations they made while travelling in or around #170 Pearl Street, which lies opposite the intersection of Pearl Street and Meadow Road.
