Attorney General Joseph A. Foster, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Robert C. Quinn, and Lebanon Police Chief Gary J. Smith, announce the results of the autopsies performed on the victims of the motor vehicle fatality in Lebanon on Saturday, December 7, 2013. New Hampshire's Chief Medical Examiner, Dr. Thomas Andrew, performed autopsies yesterday on Amanda Murphy (24) and Jason Timmons (29) of 35 Fern Street, Wilder, Vermont. Dr. Andrew determined that they both suffered multiple blunt impact injuries of the head, trunk and pelvis. In addition, Dr. Andrew determined that Ms. Murphy was approximately eight months pregnant. The female fetus died as a result of blunt force trauma from the collision.
Robert Dellinger (53), of 28 Birchpoint Lane, Sunapee, NH, the driver of the other vehicle involved in this collision remains hospitalized at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
The investigation is continuing.
