New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster and Manchester Police Chief David J. Mara announce that an investigation is ongoing into a fatal shooting incident in Manchester.
On Sunday, November 24, 2013, the Manchester Police Department responded to 331 Lake Avenue for a report of shots fired, and found one deceased adult male outside the home suffering from what appears to be a gunshot wound. A second adult male in critical condition was nearby suffering from what also appeared to be a gunshot wound. That second adult male was transported to the Elliot Hospital and is last reported to be in critical condition. Identification of the two individuals is being withheld at this time.
Although the investigation is still in the very early stages, authorities believe that all the involved parties to this incident have been identified.
Regardless, the Manchester Police are requesting the public's assistance in investigating this event. Anyone with information on the shooting, or who was in the area of 331 Lake Avenue around 3:50 PM should contact the Manchester Police Department at (603) 668-8711. No further releases are anticipated until the morning as the investigation will continue through the night.
