Attorney General Michael A. Delaney announces that the New Hampshire Board of Pharmacy ("Board") has suspended the pharmacy technician privileges of Brittany E. Bertone, of Danville, New Hampshire, effective January 9, 2013.
The Board's action is in response to Ms. Bertone's recent arrest by the Exeter Police Department. Ms. Bertone has been charged with theft by unauthorized taking and possession of narcotics.
On January 9, 2013, the Board issued an Order of Emergency Suspension and Notice of Hearing. The order suspended Ms. Bertone's pharmacy technician privileges immediately. A Board hearing is currently scheduled for January 16, 2013, for the purpose of determining whether Ms. Bertone's privileges will remain suspended during the course of the on-going investigation.
