Attorney General Michael A. Delaney, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Robert Quinn, and Salem Police Chief Paul Donovan announce that law enforcement authorities are investigating an apparent murder-suicide shooting incident that occurred at a residence in Salem, New Hampshire. One adult male and two adult females are dead, all of apparent gunshot wounds. The identities of those involved are being withheld pending notification of family members. Autopsies will be scheduled.

The investigation is still ongoing, but based upon the investigation conducted to date there is no reason to believe that there exists any danger to the public.
