New Hampshire Attorney General Michael A. Delaney, State Police Colonel Robert Quinn, Fire Marshal J. William Degnan and Atkinson Police Chief Philip V. Consentino announce that additional information is available regarding a death investigation in Atkinson, New Hampshire.
The investigation began on March 19, 2012, when a woman walking through some woods near a pond off of Pentucket Court in Atkinson came upon a dead body. Investigators located and then recovered the body of an unidentified white adult male. The body was removed to the morgue in Concord where an autopsy was conducted by Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Thomas A. Andrew.
Dr. Andrew has determined that the deceased male is Kevin Foley, age 52, of 7 Wellington Circle, in Atkinson, NH. Mr. Foley's cause of death was found to be inhalation of smoke, superheated gases and flame. The manner of death is suicide.
