New Hampshire Attorney General Michael A. Delaney announces that the cause and manner of death has been determined for the victim in the fatal shooting incident which occurred on May 19, 2011, in Hillsborough, New Hampshire.
The State’s Chief Medical Examiner, Dr. Thomas A. Andrew, has determined that the cause of Shelly Naroian’s death was a single gunshot wound to the neck. The manner of death is homicide.
The investigation is still ongoing.
