Attorney General Michael A. Delaney and Manchester Police Chief David Mara announce that Joshua Sprague, age 23, of 558 Silver Street in Manchester, NH was arrested this morning at the Weymouth, Massachusetts. Sprague was charged with Second Degree Murder for knowingly causing the death of Lennoxx Tibbs by shooting him in the chest and neck on October 22, 2009. Sprague is also charged with burglary of a dwelling in the nighttime while armed with a firearm for entering 359 Wilson Street, Manchester, NH with Justin Genest, with the purpose to commit a crime in that dwelling.
Justin Genest, age 20, of 558 Silver Street in Manchester, has been charged with accomplice to burglary of a dwelling in the nighttime for entering 359 Wilson Street, Manchester, NH with Joshua Sprague, with the purpose to commit a crime in that dwelling. Genest was also arrested this morning in Weymouth, Massachusetts.
The defendants are being held at the Weymouth Police Department pending a hearing in Quincy District Court on Monday, October 26, 2009.
The Manchester Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the homicide of Lennoxx Tibbs.
