New Hampshire Attorney General Kelly A. Ayotte, New Hampshire State Police Colonel Frederick H. Booth, and Salem Police Chief Paul T. Donovan announce that Michael Murphy (age 45) of Salem, was the man found dead yesterday in Salem, New Hampshire. An autopsy was performed at the Chief Medical Examiner's Office in Concord, NH, this morning. The Medical Examiner's Office is awaiting additional test results to ascertain the cause of death. The investigation into Mr. Murphy's untimely death remains on-going.
