Kathy Lynn Gloddy, age 13, was last seen on the evening of Sunday, November 21, 1971 near downtown Franklin, NH. She did not return home that evening. Her body was found around 1:00 p.m. on November 22, 1971 in the woods off of Webster Street in Franklin. An autopsy revealed that Kathy had been raped and strangled. She also suffered severe blunt force injuries to the neck, abdomen and head. Any of these injuries could have been fatal.
