| Details: | On September 28, 1990 a fire destroyed the single-family home of John Sterling, age 72, on School Street in Hillsborough, NH. Firefighters arrived at the scene around 1:00 a.m. and, after extinguishing the fire, discovered John's body in his home. Subsequent investigation ruled out natural and accidental causes for the fire. There were a series of arson fires in Hillsborough, NH around the time of the fire that killed John. | |
