Christina Jacobs Sentenced for Drug Offenses

Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella announces that Christina Jacobs has pled guilty to one count of Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Sell (Alprazolam) and one count of Conspiracy to Sell a Controlled Substance (Tapentadol). After a sentencing hearing in the Strafford County Superior Court, the defendant was sentenced to 12 months in the House of Corrections, to be served on administrative home confinement, followed by three years of probation on the Possession with Intent to Sell charge. On the Conspiracy to Sell a Controlled Drug charge, the defendant was sentenced to 5 to 10 years in the New Hampshire State Prison, suspended for 10 years upon her release from incarceration.

The evidence in this case established that between September of 2020 and February 17, 2021, the defendant received prescription medications shipped to her from outside of the country, which she then distributed to others via the mail.

The investigation and resolution of this case was the result of collaborative efforts of the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office, the Strafford County Sheriff’s Office, and United States Homeland Security Investigations.
